Description

Roast beef topped with bubbly cheese, a touch of horseradish mayo, and dipped in a savory homemade au jus.

Prep Time 10-15 min. | Medium
Thaw in refrigerator.

  1. In a large saute pan, add au jus and 1 cup of water, stir to combine. Bring to a boil. Place individual roast beef slices into sauce. Reduce heat to low and simmer 2-3 min.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat broiler to low. Split open buns and toast under broiler 30-60 sec. cut side up. Toast until edges are golden.
  3. Slice Swiss cheese in half and place evenly on bottom cut side of bread. Place back under the broiler 1-3 min. until cheese is melted.
  4. To assemble sandwiches, massage horseradish mayonnaise bag to blend, cut corner off and squeeze a line down top side of buns. Using tongs, evenly distribute loosely piled sliced roast beef on each sandwich and close.
  5. Evenly distribute au jus into three small bowls. Serve on the side of each sandwich for dipping.
