Description

Customizable 12-inch calzones with choices of Canadian bacon, pepperoni, sausage, cheese, olives, and red onions.

Prep Time 40-45 min. | Medium
Thaw in refrigerator. Makes 2 Calzones (1 dough round each).

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place thawed dough on cutting board and roll in flour. Let rest 10-15 min.
  2. Add 1/4 tsp. kosher salt to cheese mixture and massage to combine. Spray foil-lined baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Flatten each dough by hand or with rolling pin to form about a 12-inch circle.
  4. Place one dough on baking sheet. On one half of dough circle place 2 Tbsp. of marinara, evenly distribute cheese mixture, meat, and toppings as desired. Reserve remaining marinara sauce for dipping.
  5. Fold in half to cover filling and pinch edges together tightly. Cut three, 2-inch slits in top of dough to release steam. Repeat steps 4-5 with remaining dough.
  6. Bake 25 min. until golden. Let rest 5 min. before cutting. Serve with remaining marinara sauce.
