Pork Marsala with Mushrooms & Mashed Potatoes

Prep Time 25-30 min. | Medium
Thaw in refrigerator.

  1. Heat a large saute pan with 2 Tbsp. olive oil over med. high heat. Add pork chops and 1/8 tsp. kosher salt into seasoned dredging mixture bag and shake to coat.
  2. Add coated pork chops to heated pan and cook 3-4 min. per side (internal temp. 145°F). Remove from pan and keep warm.
  3. Meanwhile, over med. heat, place mashed potatoes in med. saucepan, stirring frequently until heated through and smooth, approx. 7-10 min.
  4. In saute pan used for pork chops, add 1 Tbsp. olive oil over med. high heat. Add mushroom mixture to pan, reduce heat to med. low, and simmer uncovered 5-8 min. until onions are soft. Add Marsala sauce to mushroom mixture and stir to blend, simmer uncovered 5-6 min. 5.Remove mushroom Marsala sauce from heat and stir in cream.
  5. To serve, place cooked pork chop over mashed potatoes and spoon mushroom Marsala sauce over top.
    NOTE: Overcooking will cause pork chops to be tough.
