Mexican Beef Tortilla Bake

Prep Time 45-50 min. | Medium
Thaw in refrigerator.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 8 x 8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium skillet over med. high heat break up and brown ground beef until no longer pink, 5-7 min. (internal temp 155°F). Drain excess liquid.
  3. Add sauce and beans to beef. Bring to boil and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
  4. Evenly layer in baking dish: 2 tortillas, 1 cup of meat and sauce, 1/6 cup cheese.
  5. Repeat 2 more layers, ending with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake covered for 15 min., remove cover and bake 10 to 15 min. until golden. Let rest 5 min. before serving.

  5. Repeat 2 more layers, ending with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake covered for 20 min., remove cover and bake 10 to 15 min. until golden. Let rest 5 min. before serving.
