Homemade Turkey Parmesan Meatballs with Cavatappi

Prep Time 25-30 min. | Medium
Thaw in refrigerator.

  1. Fill large pot 3/4 full with hot water. Add 1 tsp. salt, cover with lid, and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook 9-12 min. or until desired tenderness. Drain, and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat broiler to high heat. Spray foil-lined baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. 3.Massage turkey and seasoning to blend. Shape mixture into 12 meatballs (the size of golf balls), and place onto baking sheet.
  3. Broil meatballs 5-7 min., turn and broil an additional 5-6 min., until golden (internal temp. 165°F). 5. Meanwhile, add marinara to a med. pot and bring to a low boil over med. heat. Add meatballs and pan juices to sauce. Simmer an additional 3-4 min.
  4. To serve, toss sauce with pasta and top with Parmesan cheese.
