Thaw in refrigerator.
- In med. large sauce pan, add 2 cups water and bring to a boil.
- Add the chicken and rice mixture, stirring occasionally until just bubbling. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20-22 min.
- Add sauce bag (without peas) and simmer, covered for 5-7 min. until rice is tender. Remove from heat.
- Stir in pea mixture until well combined. Remove bay leaf.
- To serve: place in serving dish and top with sliced almonds.
