Cattleman’s Pie

Prep Time 35-40 min. | Medium
Thaw in refrigerator.

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. On stovetop, brown ground beef in nonstick saute pan over med. high heat. Drain liquid.
  3. Add carrot and onion blend. Saute 2-3 min. Pour in sauce, 1/2 cup of water, and reduce heat to med. Simmer until thickened and liquid is almost gone. Remove from heat, stir in peas and parsley.
  4. Meanwhile, place mashed potatoes in med. saucepan over med. heat, stirring frequently until heated through and smooth, 7-10 min. Remove from heat and stir in cheese blend.
  5. Spray 8×8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Add ground beef mixture to bottom of pan. Remove bay leaf and top with mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake uncovered 15-20 min., or until golden and bubbly.
